Daliworks (CEO Soonho Lee) announced on the 15th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Actility, a French Internet of Things (IoT) specialist, while participating in the economic delegation marking the 130th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and France.
Actility specializes in LoRa networks, a type of IoT technology; it holds core server technology and leads related international standards. The company provides ThingPark, a cloud service for IoT.
Under the agreement, the two companies will jointly develop a solution that combines Actility’s LoRa network server with Daliworks’ IoT cloud platform.
The goal is to offer an ‘integrated IoT solution’ to global customers who want to build IoT services on their own private networks.
Both sides expect the solution to be highly applicable across a wide range of fields, including smart metering, smart logistics, smart cities, and smart farms.
“The integrated IoT solution will have a significant impact on the entire IoT ecosystem,” said Mike Mulica, CEO of Actility. “It will prove that mutual innovation through open standards is the best path to expanding the IoT market.”
