IoT company Daliworks secures KRW 2 billion strategic investment
Daliworks, Korea’s leading Internet of Things (IoT) platform service startup, announced that it has successfully secured a KRW 2 billion investment from a strategic investor (SI). Daliworks is said to have been highly rated in the venture capital market for its growth potential, based on its core IoT cloud platform technology, the competitive edge gained from its early entry into the IoT market, and its differentiated services.

Daliworks’ IoT (Internet of Things) platform, Thingplus (Thing+, ThingPlus), is targeting the global market with a differentiation strategy as a “software-as-a-service (SaaS) based IoT platform,” and its customer-friendly offering has established its image as an “easy and fast IoT service.” The company also plans to provide Thingplus platform functions as open APIs and strengthen its developer support program so that IoT services can be built easily with open-source hardware.
The strategic investment is highly significant in that it gives Daliworks a springboard for expanding Thingplus into the global market. By combining the strategic investor’s product planning and marketing capabilities with Daliworks’ IoT platform technology, the two companies are expected to drive growth in the domestic and global IoT markets together through competitive IoT services.
“Most of this investment will be used as operating funds for advanced feature development to strengthen product competitiveness and for global market expansion,” said Soonho Lee, CEO of Daliworks, adding that the company will expand linked services with IoT manufacturers at home and abroad and continue to grow its market through business cooperation with the strategic investor.
