Daliworks, an Internet of Things platform company, announced on the 7th that it drew attention at ‘IoT Expo 2015,’ China’s largest IoT (Internet of Things) exhibition, with its IoT cloud platform ‘Thingplus’ and related hardware products.

At the exhibition, Daliworks introduced key use cases of the Thingplus platform. Hardware partner Neuromeka also took part, demonstrating real-time monitoring and control with devices actually integrated with Thingplus.

Daliworks also presented Thingplus’ key features and major Thingplus-based services at the IoT new product launch event held during the exhibition. According to the company, visitors responded enthusiastically to the fact that IoT services across many fields — △ refrigerated and frozen logistics warehouse monitoring △ greenhouse cultivation and livestock facility management △ smart factory services △ smart building and energy monitoring services — are all delivered on the Thingplus platform.

“Many IT companies visiting from China, Japan, Taiwan, the Philippines, Vietnam, and elsewhere showed strong interest in Daliworks’ Thingplus,” a company representative said. “Some of them discussed launching Thingplus-based IoT cloud services in their own countries.”

Notably, Ronglee, a Chinese company in the hotel business, signed a memorandum of understanding with Daliworks to launch a smart hotel service based on Thingplus. Daliworks also signed an MOU with LuojinTech of Nanjing, China, a builder of production management systems, which plans to launch a smart factory service.

“We expect software companies like Daliworks to find business opportunities in the Chinese market,” said Soonho Lee, CEO of Daliworks. “Thingplus will also expand its services in the Chinese market through partnerships with local companies.”
