K-ICT WEEK in BUSAN was held at BEXCO in Busan. Running from September 6 to 8, it closed with record-breaking results. K-ICT WEEK in BUSAN is a venue for exchange created to expand the market for the regional ICT industry. It is one of Korea’s flagship ICT exhibition and convention events, with three shows — AI KOREA, IT EXPO BUSAN, and Cloud Expo — held simultaneously. For anyone considering digital twins, smart manufacturing, or AI adoption, or interested in moving to the cloud, it is an exhibition full of business and networking opportunities.

This year’s keyword for K-ICT WEEK in BUSAN was “ICT business leading digital transformation.” The event drew attention by showcasing the latest technologies and products from ICT companies — from AI to big data, cloud, virtual reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR) — along with an at-a-glance view of ICT convergence with key industries such as manufacturing, maritime, finance, and logistics.

The buyer meetings drew strong interest from ICT buyers, with 80 Korean and international buyers invited and more than 300 consultations held. At the IR Demo Day, 10 startups seeking investment delivered pitch presentations, securing opportunities to raise funding from investors and investment firms.

The conference ran under the overarching theme of “Digital Transformation and Sustainability,” with the AI Conference and the CLOUD Conference held in parallel. The AI Conference covered the latest AI technologies, including generative AI, with topics spanning use cases, ethics, and policy, while the CLOUD Conference addressed emerging digital industry trends, cloud adoption cases, technology security, and hands-on training.

A Successful Close to the Exhibition

Many of the visitors who came to the Daliworks booth were looking for partners for digital transformation collaboration, and they responded positively to Daliworks’ experience delivering services in Korea and abroad and its broad portfolio of IoT service references.
