Daliworks (CEO Soonho Lee) took part in ‘2024 K-ICT WEEK in BUSAN’, held for three days from Tuesday, September 10 to Thursday, September 12 at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 2.
Daliworks is an AIoT platform specialist that delivers business-specific tailored services through its Thingplus platform. So that small and mid-sized companies without in-house specialists can achieve digital transformation at a reasonable cost, it supports the full journey — from consulting to service and system design, communications and device recommendations, and data visualization.
The company has steadily introduced AIoT services combining cloud, big data, machine learning, and digital twin technology, with references across a wide range of service areas. In particular, its flagship services — PRIME (manufacturing equipment management), EnergyQ (FEMS), and SignalVax (AI motor diagnostics) — raise efficiency and stability on the factory floor and are leading the innovative shift to smart factories, according to a company representative.
Thingplus is used by some 100 companies across manufacturing, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, environment, safety, power generation, and more, and the Thingplus manufacturing solutions are known to have been successfully deployed at 6 major manufacturers with transformative results. Daliworks also announced that it recently deployed SignalVax, its AI motor diagnostics solution, at a Korean steelmaker listed on the KOSPI 200. An oil refiner has adopted SignalVax with strong results as well.
Building on these successes, Daliworks plans to supply AI solutions to more Korean manufacturers in active support of their digital transformation. It also intends to make a full-scale entry into the Japanese market on the strength of successful export references from existing PoC projects and commercial services.
Participating in the show with an eye on the Yeongnam regional market, Daliworks actively promoted ‘EnergyQ’, its next-generation FEMS (Factory Energy Management System) solution officially launching in October.

EnergyQ is an energy management service aimed at cutting energy costs and maximizing operational efficiency for factories and manufacturers. What sets it apart is that it also integrates power quality management, a capability existing FEMS solutions have not offered.
Its main functions include real-time monitoring of factory power usage along with advanced data analysis tools that analyze power consumption patterns and suggest optimal operating strategies. Users can grasp energy consumption at a glance through an intuitive dashboard, and tailored reports enable strategic energy management.
With power quality management built in, EnergyQ helps prevent productivity losses from power fluctuations or instability and maintain a stable production environment. This raises factory operating efficiency and minimizes losses from unexpected power problems.
EnergyQ also provides the ability to quantify energy use — plant-wide and by purpose/group — as carbon emissions. Daliworks emphasized that this feeds into planning and executing ESG (environmental, social, governance) goals and helps strengthen corporate sustainability.

A Daliworks representative explained, “We plan to pursue a range of export and business expansion strategies to further cement our position in the global market. To start, we will expand adoption of the Thingplus platform in countries pushing digital transformation aggressively — Japan, India, and China among them — to get ahead in the fast-growing IoT market. Demand for IoT platforms in these markets is rising as digital initiatives are adopted and scaled, and Daliworks plans to seize this opportunity with innovative solutions.”
The company also stressed that, with the solutions segment expected to hold the largest market share through 2027 alongside the benefits of IoT adoption, Daliworks aims to build a global IoT ecosystem centered on Thingplus. “To that end, we plan to keep strengthening our hardware and service partnerships,” the representative said. “These partnerships will play a key role in developing new killer services and scaling the business.”
The representative added, “Daliworks will also actively cultivate overseas partners to deliver AI solutions in specific vertical domains, above all in manufacturing,” and shared the company’s ambition: “Through this, we plan to establish a business model in which Thingplus platform usage is paid for via service revenue sharing or solution license purchases. With this strategy, Daliworks will keep growing in the global IoT market, creating new business opportunities and further expanding the worldwide IoT ecosystem.”
Meanwhile, ‘2024 K-ICT WEEK in BUSAN’ is the largest comprehensive ICT event in Korea’s southeastern region, bringing together three shows — AI KOREA, CLOUD EXPO KOREA, and IT EXPO BUSAN — at the same time. The combined format created a venue for Fourth Industrial Revolution technology and networking.
