Next came \u2018directly entering process data into system screens on PCs\/tablets (39.1%).\u2019 \u2018Accumulating data by hand, such as writing work logs or entering figures into Excel,\u2019 accounted for a surprisingly high 17.3%. In practice, a substantial share of the smart factory manufacturing data that gets entered directly is still collected by hand.<\/span><\/p>\n
